Wallbox bulb for when bulbs are powered by 24vac in parallel.

When powering up a wallbox either for display or use with our wireless transmitter, the available power supply is often only 24 volt AC.  Some wallboxes have four lights in series, wired one after another, and this can handle the 24vac, you know this by removing one bulb they all go out, like Christmas lights.  Others wallboxes were originally fed with a dedicated light power of 6.3 volts and powering these with 24vac will cause a bright flash and burn out all the bulbs.  This supplied bulb will properly work in this situation, without causing too much heat or brightness.  An example of these wallboxes can be the 2140 Wurlitzer “Frog Box” or the 1940’s Rock Ola Dial-A-Tune “DC” wallboxes, the AC versions don’t need these.
