Rock-Ola 414

The Rock-Ola 414 jukebox, also known as the Rock-Ola “Rhumba” was produced by Rock-Ola in the 1950s. The 414 features a distinctive cabinet design with a wood finish, decorative elements and chrome accents. It can hold and play up to 40 45-rpm records, or 80 selections of songs.

The Rock-Ola 414 jukebox features decorative lighting effects, including color changing pilasters and grille lighting. It uses rotating carousel mechanism to store and retrieve the records. The carousel rotates to bring the selected record to the turntable for playback. It is equipped with a built-in amplifier and speaker system to deliver high-quality audio output.

Designed to be used in public places, the Rock-Ola 414 jukebox features a coin mechanism that accepts nickels, dimes or quarters, allowing users to pay for their song selection. It uses Rock-Ola’s Select-O-Matic system, which allows users to choose songs by pressing the corresponding buttons on the front panel. The buttons are labeled with numbers or letters representing the song selections.
