The Wurlitzer Countertop 41, 51, 61, 71 and 81 model jukeboxes were produced by the Wurlitzer Company in 1937 through 1942.  They were compact jukeboxes designed to sit on a countertop or tabletop. They feature an Art-Deco inspired design with decorative plastics and chrome accents. They hold and play 12 78-rpm records.  The mechanism is unique with special rolled trays allowing the tone arm to fit between the trays for play in a compact cabinet.

The Wurlitzer Countertop 41, 51, 61, 71, and 81 model jukeboxes feature illuminated Plastics making them glow and attract play.  The model 41 is the smallest and the model 71 is the largest of them all.  IF you notice model 81 and 71 are similar, model 71 feature yellow marble plastics wheil the 81 has orange and black marbled plastics.

Often you will see them displayed on a stand, wurlitzer offered official stands for use and also aftermarket ones available.  Stands can be found both original and also reproductions.  OFten priced similarly to the countertop jukebox them self.

Overall, the Wurlitzer Countertop 41, 51, 61, 71 and 81 model jukeboxes were quite popular during their time.  They are highly collectible and sought out for collectors.
