Victory Glass is pleased to offer this updated Solid State Tormat Memory System for Seeburg jukeboxes! This unit replaces the original high-voltage-based Tormat memory system, while also providing a built-in electronic stepper, pricing unit with free play and coin options, wireless wallbox support, and more! Gone are the days of the age old Seeburg “scans twice and stops” problem.

For end users working on your own jukebox, this product means you no longer need to seek out a repair person to rebuild your selection receiver, or figure out how to do it yourself. For the repair professional, it means you can tackle a refurbishment with much more predictable results with a much faster turnaround time, with less chance of the dreaded callback. For everyone, it means the jukebox will operate reliably with more functionality than ever before, allowing it to be enjoyed for many more years and generations.

The SS Tormat unit also features a solid state stepper, which is used to write in remote selections from either a wall box or a Victory Glass Solid State Amplifier. If your mechanical stepper has issues (or your machine is not equipped with one), it no longer matters, as our stepper function will enter the selections electronically!

The SS Tormat system also takes over the duty of the “Credit Unit”, meaning you no longer need to repair the original unit or purchase a free play adapter. You can either place the unit in free play mode, or you can choose from 10 different coin pricing options. All options, coin or free, include the same latch solenoid safety features that our free play adapters have included for nearly 30 years.

We’ve also added several new selectable features which you can toggle on and off at your liking:

Random Mode: When this option is enabled, the very last selections of the machine perform different functions. Pressing the last “A” side (U0, for example) will instead play a randomly selected A-side record, and pressing the last “B” side (V0, for example) will put the machine into a continuous random mode, playing random selections continuously until you turn random mode off again.

FIFO (First-In-First-Out): When this mode is enabled, the machine will play your selections in the order they were selected. In contrast, you can choose “Original” play order, where the songs are played as the mechanism scans left-to-right and right-to-left.

AutoPlay: When AutoPlay is enabled, the jukebox will automatically play a random A-side selection at the interval you choose, whenever the machine is powered on. You can choose the AutoPlay time in 5 minute increments from 5 to 75 minutes.

Included are the new control unit, optical sensor board, contact block board (aka “frog”), title strip label for random mode, color instructions, and all necessary hardware and cables.
