Mills/Evans produced jukeboxes from 1928 through 1955, they are not a common to find box. They are available in a variety of finishes, including wood veneer and painted metal. It is a relatively compact and lightweight machine compared to some earlier models. Known for some stunning art deco designs. Some notable models are the Mills Empress and Throne of music, as well as Evans Constellation and Jubilee.
Designed to be used in public places, the Mills/Evans features a coin mechanism that accepts nickels, dimes, and quarters. When a coin is inserted, the selected song is played. It also features a title strip holder that displays the name of the song and artist for each selection.
