The Rowe-AMI 1963 and Newer models were produced from 1963 and later. These jukeboxes could hold 33/45 records and CD and in some cases both, depending on model.
1963 marked the first year of Rowe/AMI merger designed machines, they were modernized to include less chrome and more wood grain of the time. The 1100 series mechanism was introduced as an updated version of the 900 series mechanism.
Designed to be used in public places, these model jukeboxes have a coin mechanism that accepts nickels, dimes, and quarters, allowing users to pay for their song selections. The Rowe-AMI jukeboxes have the option of adding a remote control, allowing users to select songs from a distance. Some of the Rowe-AMI jukebox models are equipped with auxiliary inputs, which allow users to connect external music sources.
