Designed to be used in public places, the Wurlitzer 1400 and 1450 jukeboxes feature a coin mechanism that accepts nickels or dimes, allowing users to pay for their song selection. They use a manual song selection mechanism. Users can flip through the record selection and manually place the desired record on the turntable for playback.

Overall, the Wurlitzer 1400 and 1450 jukeboxes were some of the transition jukeboxes of the era, they remain a nice example of a jukebox, but wurlitzer was still finding its way and its seen in the design. It’s a good 1950’s jukebox to enter in the era.
