The Wurlitzer 2150 jukebox was produced by the Wurlitzer Company in 1957. It features a sleek design that was a major difference from previous designs. The 2150 supports 200 selections and holds 100 records. It is one of two Wurlitzers that have the selections buttons on the top of the cabinet away from the titleboard. These models mark the start of the record mechanism getting blocked by the titleboard.
Designed to be used in public places, the Wurlitzer 2150 jukebox features a coin mechanism that accepts nickels, dimes or quarters, allowing users to pay for their song selection. It has a push-button song selection system. Users press the corresponding button on the front panel to choose their desired song.
Overall, the Wurlitzer 2150 jukebox was one of the more popular models produced by Wurlitzer. This is an attractive jukebox but overshadowed by its highly collectible other models produced the same year.
