The Wurlitzer 2500, 2510 and 2504 jukeboxes were produced by the Wurlitzer Company in 1961. They features a classic and stylish design, with a light wood cabinet with decorative accents, and an undercut titleboard section that displayed the selection of records. The 2510 model can hold and play up to 50 45-rpm records, providing a selection of 100 songs, The 2504 model would hold 52 records for 104 selections, while the 2500 model can hold and play up to 100 45-rpm records, providing a selection of 200 songs. The model number serial tag might also have a “-s” after the model, this delliniates it was a stereo model, otherwise it was a mono.
The Wurlitzer 2500, 2510 and 2504 feature lights to illuminate the record selection area, the Wurlitzer logo and other parts of the jukebox, creating an attractive display. They have a mechanism that displays the title strips corresponding to the available songs. on the 2504 and 2510 there are filler panels with a four pointed star where the 2500 has title strips. These are fragile and need care taken while cleaning.
