The Wurlitzer  Victory conversion jukeboxes were created during the World War II as a result of the materials shortage and restrictions on the production of new jukeboxes. They were available from 1942 through 1945.  They are conversions of existing Wurlitzer 78-rpm models Models. The Victory jukeboxes were made of wood and glass with very little new metal or plastic used.  Some parts changed composition during production due to product availability.

Different cabinet trim was offered to suit donor machines, a rotary unit and keyboard unit uses different front doors and trim to cover up holes.

Most of the Wurlitzer Victory conversions retained the coin-operated feature, allowing users to insert nickels or dimes to pay for their song selection. The sound system of the Victory conversions consist of a single speaker, which provides mono audio output.

Overall, the Wurlitzer Victory conversions were created as a temporary solution during the wartime period when materials and manufacturing were restricted. They were intended for operators to have newer looking jukeboxes with limited resources because of the war effort.
