Victory Glass Wireless Wallbox system transmitter for wallboxes with 24 selection wire hookups. These are often called 27 or 30 wire systems. This unit also supports the Wurlitzer 2140 “Frog Box” without the need for a 212 Master Unit.
The jukebox must have a Victory Glass wireless receiver installed and working in order to receive from this transmitter. (Our Wurlitzer 219E Stepper and Golden Age Solid State Amplifiers have wireless receivers already built into them.)
Most Wallboxes require an external 24VAC supply, available as an optional addon. If your wallbox has a internal supply or you choose to supply your own, please verify it doesn’t peak higher than 30 VAC with no load. Too high of AC voltage will damage the transmitter.
A single transmitter can support multiple wallboxes of the same “Type”. You will need to tie all selection and AC wires from one wallbox to the other to use multiple together (Frog and non frog can not be combined.)
LIGHTS! This will supply 24VAC to the wallbox, however some earlier wallboxes used a separate 6v lighting circuit. You can tie the 24VAC to the light wiring BUT you will need to swap out the bulbs with 1820 bulbs available in our store. The easiest way to know, if you have 4 lights in series you are setup for 24volt, if they are in parallel, then you need the 1820.
We also have an option power switch that can be placed on the AC power cord to allow easy switching on and off of the wallbox and transmitter.
