The Seeburg Pre War Model jukeboxes were produced by Seeburg Corporation. These refer to jukeboxes produced before and during World War 2. They are designed to play 78-rpm shellac records, which were the standard format at the time, and only offered play of a single side of a record. Selections Range from 10 to 20.
Most Seeburg Pre War models had similar design. A Few unique designs do come out of this era like the model D asymmetrical model. The later “High Tone” models are the most popular collectible machines starting with the 8800.
